Many time you have parents that you wish were not so involved in your center. Sometime though, there is a parent who you know should be more involved in his/her child’s care, and you need them to communicate with you. Their child’s best chance for success depends on it. This webinar will discuss how to successfully get that parent to become more involved, including some of the obstacles parents face in their daily lives and in their uncertainty of how to interact with you.
Webinar Learning Objectives:
The learner will be able to…
- Identify at least three situations where children would benefit from their parents being more involved in their care
- Determine how best communicate with and build a rapport with the parents
- Develop an action plan for the center staff and the parents to work well together for the success of the child
